Our names are Jacques and Janet Le Clainche.  We're located near Colorado Springs, Colorado.

We've been involved in Rhodesian Ridgebacks for over 16 years.  We purchased our first puppy from Lamarde Perro Kennels in 1993. At the time we just wanted a good dog for our home.  We’d researched the dogs we liked, wanted a purebred, decided on this breed of dog. We talked to breeders in our area and went by recommendations.  We brought Brittany home as a "showable pet".   As she grew up she turned out to be a very good representative of the breed.   With her breeder’s encouragement, we went to fun matches, conformation classes and began showing her at about a year old.  She got her championship well before her 2^nd birthday.

Like many other people who have Rhodesian Ridgebacks, we found you can’t own just one! We bought Charlie from the same breeders, Margaret and John Cook of Lamarde Perro Kennels, as a companion to Brittany.   Since then we’ve become involved in showing and breeding our dogs. We also promote other activities such as lure coursing, agility and obedience. Most important, our dogs are members of our family and expected to be good citizens at home and when out and about.

We’re a four-dog family whose members are Sunny, Wyatt, Nicole and Elton.   We also have three girls from our last litter - Murphy, Bones and Morgan.  Morgan is looking for a new "forever" home this summer.
